Scaling-Up Viable Enterprises (Enterprise Pitching)

To promote a supportive culture of entrepreneurship and socioeconomic development, the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) is hereby inviting targeted MSMEs and Cooperatives to be considered for scaling up business investment opportunities. These targeted enterprises will be identified through a competitive selection process (business pitching) at provincial level considering predetermined selection variables characterising the potential for scaling up of the business.

For this loan product, CEEC will prioritise sectors/industries that are considered to have the potential for fast-tracking the achievement of high economic growth and incorporate the value chain development approach in Mining, Manufacturing, and Agro-processing.

ELIGIBILITY

Interested targeted enterprises must meet the following entry requirements:

  1. Proof of formal registration/incorporation.
  2. Annual returns and audited financial statements for at least 2 years.
  3. Must be in prioritised sector/industry as indicated on the Call for Participation.
  4. Proof of ground presence (domiciled) in the province of concern.
  5. Must be a Small or Medium Enterprise as operationalised by the Revised National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Development (MSME) Policy.
