PROPOSALS TO UNDERTAKE BUSINESS INVESTMENTS WITH FUNDING FROM THE CITIZENS ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT FUND (CEEF) FOR THE YEAR 2026

The Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) invites targeted citizens, SMEs and cooperatives to apply for the Microfinance Cosmetology Loan Product under the 2026 empowerment products across selected towns and cities, to strengthen the media and creative industries value chain. This microfinance loan product is open to applicants that own enterprises within the following towns/cities: Livingstone, Choma, Chipata, Mongu, Kabwe, Mansa, Chinsali, Kitwe, Ndola, Solwezi and Kasama.

  • The Commission has developed this sector-specific loan product aimed at consolidating existing interventions in the media and creative industries to enhance capacity for comprehensive value chain development. The intention is to broaden support to allied creative sectors in line with the 8NDP.
  • All applications must be duly completed according to the specifications of the designated mode to ensure proper processing.
  • The Commission (CEEC) offers a convenient application mode for 2026 empowerment loan products: online submissions via empowerment.ceec.org.zm. All applications for the above product should be applied online.
  • Incomplete or incorrectly submitted applications will not be considered; please ensure you follow the correct submission method for your loan product as guided on the website.
  • All applications with adverse CRB Reports in the name of the individual, enterprise or any of its directors will not be considered.
  • Salaried employees are required to commit to monthly deductions from their salaries via their respective employers.
