TYPE OF PRODUCT – Auto mechanics
PROJECT TYPES – Local Automotive Workshops, Auto shops and Fitments centers, auto mechanics (those trading
in automobile spares, number plate manufacturing, motor vehicle repair(mechanics) including spray painting, and
panel beating and fitment centers).
TARGETED NUMBER OF MSMEs IN EACH PROVINCE – A total number of 500 Cooperatives/MSMEs with viable
businesses are being targeted per province.
MAXIMUM AMOUNT – The Commission will be offering loan facilities with a maximum of K2, 000,000.00
LOAN INTEREST RATE AND TENOR
The loan will attract twelve (12) percent interest per annum and the tenure shall be a maximum of Sixty (60) months.
COLLATERALL REQUIREMENT
Collateral for this facility will include; company stock, movable assets e.g. vehicles, account receivables and landed
properties.
ELIGIBILITY
Beneficiary must be a Zambian Citizen with a Green National Registration Card
Cooperatives/MSMEs both existing and start up operating as an Auto mechanic workshop, fitment
center or general dealership in auto spares with a viable business project.
For Business Names and Limited Companies, one must be a registered company with a PACRA
certificate of incorporation
For Cooperatives, one must be registered with Department of Cooperative.
Must provide sufficient collateral to secure the loan being applied for.
Must have a ZRA Tax Payer Identification Number (TPIN)
