2023 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS-WESTERN PROVINCE

PROPOSALS TO UNDERTAKE CASHEW PROCESSING UNDER THE MATCHING GRANT FACILITY OF THE CASHEW INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The Government of the Republic of Zambia, is through the Ministry of Agriculture with support from the African Development Bank, implementing the Cashew Infrastructure Development Project (CIDP) in targeted districts of Western Province, with the aim of reviving the cashew subsector.

The Ministry of Agriculture has appointed the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission as the Fund Manager of the Matching Grant Facility of the Project. CEEC is disbursing the matching grants for targeted citizens and companies to implement Cashew processing along the Cashew Value Chain in the target districts of the Project.

Following a Call for Applications issued in December 2020, the Commission awarded Matching Grants to targeted citizens and companies in the target districts. The Commission now wishes to award matching grants to target citizens under Cashew Processing only in the  districts where less or no applications were received as follows; Sioma, Nalolo, Senanga, Sikongo, Mitete, Lukulu and Shangombo only.

APPLICATION PROCESS

  • Application Forms can be obtained from CEEC Mongu Provincial Office or DOWNLOAD FORM HERE
  • Fill in the application form with the required attachments and send via email to CEEC email address, BDS@ceec.org.com or hand delivered at CEEC Mongu Provincial office at the Mongu Industrial yard.

The deadline for submission of applications is Friday 31st March, 2023, at 17:00hrs.

In line with Government’s policy, the Commission prioritizes and encourages the participation of youths, women and the physically challenged. ALL unsuccessful applicants in the earlier Call for Application are also encouraged to apply.
